Mr. W. E. Anderson,

Dear Sir:-

In reply to your letter of Aug. 9th inst.[instance] I wish to draw your attention that our property had been sold contrary to the promise made by you when we were leaving the coastal area. In addition to this the amount sold is so small compared to the original piece of property.

In receiving this cheque of $275.12 you sent in I wish to reserve the right to claim the balance at a later date.

Very truly yours,

"S. Sakurai"
