Sirs:

I received your letter again informing me of your intentions of selling my property. As I stated in my last letter, I will not consent to the sale. If we should ever be able to return there, that property and house is all we have to rely upon. On account of old age we will be unable to work, should there be any chances of employment.

As you probably know, the rate of maintenance we get here is a pitiful amount. Therefore I would like to hang on to my property, as it will assure me of a roof over our heads. I would like you to know that I will not sell my property no matter how many times you write to me.

Yours truly,

"Suejiro Mori"
