Dear Sir:

Re your letter of March 19th inst. I am sorry to say that I can not submit the receipt received from the R.C.M.P. [Royal Canadian Mounted Police] as to do so would relinquish my only proof of ownership of said radio.

Legally that is still my radio and car. I do not know what you intend doing with proceeds of same but I do not recognize the sales.
