Dear Sir:

Re: Your Mayne Island Property.

We are in receipt of your letters of the 5th and 10th ultimo protesting against the sale of your Mayne Island property.

Your remarks have been carefully read and we appreciate that the disposal of your property is a matter of personal concern to you. However, the sale of properties to The Director, Soldier Settlement & Veterans' Land Act, was carried out as a part of a policy of liquidation outlined Ottawa, on the basis of appraised values.

Your letters have been placed upon your file so that your comments in regard to this sale will remain on record.

The net proceeds from this sale are available to you, as advised you on the 8th ultimo, and we will continue to remit you $35.00 per month so long as funds are available or until the arrangement to do so is cancelled by yourself or the British Columbia Security Commission.

Yours truly,

R. G. Bell,
Administration Department.
