Dear Sir:
Your File: #10108
Thank you kindly for your letter of February 12, with regard to sale of my property at 245 Union Street, Vancouver, B.C.
I have been surprized to learn that the price for the sale of the above property being fixed at $10,500.00 which is considerably lower than the city assessment and way lower than the price I have in mind if I were to sell that property.
You may have been making arrangement for the above transation on the basis of valuation independently made following instructions from Ottawa, but I have no intention of selling that property as I have been enjoying incomes from that property to support two families.
Regarding Title to that property which was mentioned in your letter, there is something that I can not understand, that is, when you disposed of my residential building at Cassiar Street of your city, you did not request me to send you the Title while it seems that you are interested to have me produce it to you now. In any case I would like to hold it and retrain from sending it to you with the above mentioned reason.
Yours very truly,
"K. Shoji"
