File No. 4524
Mr. F. G. Shears,
Custodian's Director,
Vancouver, B. C.
Dear Sir:
Re your letter of Aug. 19th, 1944. I am never been contented of the price that you had sold of my properties except the boat "Awaji". The price on my farm was only about 1/9 (one ninth) of the real value in the present time. I will request for the refund on those properties in some day.
As since we came in this province I had a very hardship to keep on the living with my family and could save nothing to pay the life insurance more over I had spent all of my pocket money now. Even though the cold winter will come not long. Therefore I request you will send me the total amount on the statement as soon as you can.
Yours truly,
"Masao MIKI"
