Dear Sir:

In reference to your letter of June 16th, we wish to inform you that the sale price of $1032.00 is both unfair and unsatisfactory. The assessed value of our property in Whonnock as estimated on the tax receipt forms reads $2450.00. Furthermore, prior to evacuation, we constructed a house which cost us approximately $500.00. It is therefore, obvious that we cannot accept any deal less than $2900.00.

Yours truly,

"T. OKADA"
"N. KARATSU".
