Office of the Custodian.
Dear Sirs:
I have received your letter of June 8th, 1944, File No. 6994/6987, J.L. [Japanese Letter] No. 176, regarding the sale of my farm in the Municipality of Maple Ridge, containing 18 acres, more or less, for the sum of $410.
This is the joint property of my father, Matsutaro KOSAKA (Reg. No. 13950), and myself.
I wish to object to this forced sale, and also to the low price offered for the farm. To the best of my memory, the Municipality of Maple Ridge assessed this land, at pre-war prices, at about ($850) Eight Hundred and Fifty Dollars annually.
Yours very truly,
(Sgd.) K. KOSAKA
