Dear Sir:

I have been thinking about the cheque you sent me but have come to the conclusion that the amount for which our house was sold is less than what anyone would have had to pay in ordinary time. You cannot buy a house for a small sum of $700.00 and even though it was small, it was our home. The house was sold without our consent which is another thing and I think it is very unfair. I am returning the cheque for $666.65.

Yours truly,

"T. Omori"
