Office of the Custodian,
Vancouver, B.C.

Dear Sir:

I acknowledge your letter of January 20th and a cheque for the sum of $4.33 but I did not receive a statement of my account as was stated in your letter.

The cheque of $4.33 cannot be the full balance of my account. I cannot believe that all my goods were stolen from my house as there were some heavy fixtures such as a kitchen range. Also, the price of a trunk, the sale of which was stated in your letter of February 9th, 1944, has not been accounted for.

I received your letter with much bitterness and with disappointment of my trust in your office. When I left B.C. I vested my property into the hands of the Custodian. All the sales your office has so far transacted have been unreasonably low. I also hold your office responsible for any loss of my goods through possible pilfering as your letter stated and I shall in due time take up this matter to the proper authorities.

I shall be obliged if you would forward me the statement of my account, which you failed to enclose in your last letter.

Yours truly,
