Attention to Mr. F. Matheson

Dear Sirs:

Please find enclosed cheque which you sent me, dated December 12th, and which cannot be accepted, because of the sum of $3.02, being net proceeds from the sale of my car. This section on your part was contrary to your promise and against my will, and you never received permission to sell my car. It is a ridiculously cheap price. The car was in very good condition and kept so carefully, for my private use only, and did not run up a big mileage. I had just bought a new 1942 license for the car for $25.00 and used it only a couple of days. Therefore, you or the B.C. Government must refund the license fee to me. This is entirely unfair treatment on your part.

I trust you can understand this situation.

Yours truly,

"B. Uyeda."
