Mr. F. Matheson,

Vancouver, B.C.

Dear Sir:

I am writing, as you have requested, to confirm and acknowledge the cheque, the sum of which was four hundred one dollars and fourteen cents. ($401.14), which I received on September fourth (4), 1947.

Concerning my fishing vessel, "T.S.", Victoria Licence No. 1841, I strongly disagree to the amount that was received upon being sold by the Custodian. I want it to be understood that my vessel was worth three (3) times as much as the amount stated and sold by the Custodian.

The above may sound like a complaint to you, but I consider that great injustice has been done to me and also to my property.

Yours truly,

(signed) Toshiro SHIMIZU
