To Office of the Custodian,

Dear Sir:

I have just received your letter stating that my property has been sold.

Now in your letter you have Lot 10 and South Part 5.1926 acres of Lot 9 N.W.¼ Section 30, Township 2, Map 1607.

Now I would like to have this made clear to me, whether the property that has been sold is Lot 9. Because if it is I can quite understnad the $455.85 plus $60.75 being paid off to Mr. Archibald who has still in his possession the title to said property.

But if it so happened that Lot 10 had been sold to pay off the principle of Lot 9 it would be a very unfair injustice to me. For the price, the above mentioned land has been sold at is even unthinkable and, it so happens that I have not given my release for the sale of my own property.

And one other item I would like to make clear to your office is, that the land tax arrears for the year ending 1942 was $38.69 plus $3.87 for penalty in failing to pay after date. Which comes to the total of $42.56.

In your statement to me tax arrears to Dec. 31st, you have $44.69. I have a tax notice of that same year sent to me from the Municipality of Surrey.

I am able to understand a great deal, but when everything is being done without the consent or knowledge of ones own property. It should seem that the proper way, is to see that the person involved has every chance to see that, what is so and what is not.

I hope I can make myself quite clear to you and trusting that I may hear from you as soon as possible.

I remain,
Yours truly,
"T. ONISHI"
