Your File #1480. Cat. No. 507.

Dear Sir:

Re: Port Albion (Ucluelet) property.

Your letter of September 29th, 1944, addressed to Mr. Risuke Hamade, Registration No. 12150, of Lemon Creek, Slocan, B. C., has been referred to us for attention.

"Ottawa's policy" of orderly liquidation of coastal properties, insofar as it affects the property of Mr. Hamade, is strenuously objected to by him and he has no intention of effecting a sale of his property for any reason whatsoever. We wish you to note, on Mr. Hamade's behalf, his objection to the proposed sale of his property and while he is forced, due to present conditions, to stand by, he is not agreeing to the sale and is not prepared to forward to you the Certificate of Title which you have asked for.

Yours truly,

Norris & MacLennan,

per "J.A. MacLennan"
