COPY FOR MR. SHEARS' COMPLAINT FILE.

Sept. 6, 1946.

Office of the Custodian,
Vancouver, B.C.

Dear Sir:

I have just received the cheque of a sum of $174.00 on June 21, 1946. I was so busy until now I did not have time to answer your letter until today.

The sum of $174.00 I have received for the property is only 1/10 of what the property is just now.

I paid about $800.00 cash to buy that property and there is over 2 acres clear there is berry and fruit trees.

I would like to know why the property owned by the Canadian Japanese was sold so cheap to the Director of Veteran's

I cannot sell you the property for so low price that property is worth another $1000.00 more, therefore I cannot send you the Certificate of Title for the property until I get a little more money for my land.

Yours truly,
