Dear Madam:

Re: 112 Kingsway, Port Alberni, B. C.
(Lot 18 in Block 103 of Lot 1,
Alberni District, Plan 197).

We are in receipt of your letter of the 14th instant and take due note of your comments on the sale of your property.

While we appreciate that the sale of any property is a matter of personal concern to and in some cases may be contrary to the wishes of the owner, we believe we have taken every possible step to secure prices that adequately represent current values and we feel satisfied with the result in this case; in fact we feel relieved to have found a purchaser at a price that was in line with the valuation placed on the property by a qualified independent survey. In spite of advertising and the efforts of Real Estate Agents since it was put on the market over a year ago the building is in such poor condition in the interest of most prospective purchasers ended with inspection of the premises.

As soon as the adjustments incidental to all sales of Real Property are made a complete statement of the transaction will be sent you, showing the net proceeds passed to the credit of your account. In the meantime your protest is on record.

Yours truly,

R.G. Bell,
Administration Department.
