Dear Sir:

Re: file # 4943

I have just come back from my holidays and I find your letter of August 6th, enclosing statement and cheque for $3,019.04.

As I glanced over the statement, I am very much disappointed with the amount of the auction sales. In the first place there was no permission and I definitely refused to sell any of my belongings, my property, too. Now that all is sold, I am still not satisfied with the price on any one. I would like to know clearly what articles had been sold and price of each.

My property is worth much more than what it has been sold, after all, I bought the land for $1500 and, over 20 years of hard labour in putting up all those buildings and improvements. There was

(1) the house - 10 rooms and basement - 24' x 34'
(2) chicken houses - 32 rooms 20' x 20'.
(3) garage 18' x 20'
(4) feed house 18' x 20'
(5) colony houses - 7 or 8
(6) forcing rhubarb room 20' x 100'
(7) dutch oven brooder cap'ty 2500 chicks
(8) orchard - 13 trees
(9) 2 acres of black current
(10) ½ acre of gooseberries
(11) ¼ acre of asparagus
(12) ½ acre of rhubarb

I am returning the statement and the cheque as I am disatisfied with the whole matter, hoping that I will obtain a much more reasonable value very soon.

Sincerely yours,

"M. OHORI"
