Dear Sir:

I am in receipt of your letter of March 14th enclosing cheque for the sum of thirty three dollars and forty five cents ($33.45).

As yet the chattels themselves, would mean of much more importance to me rather than the acknowledgment of Custodian cheque. However, being no other alternative I am accepting your cheque for the sum of thirty three dollars and forty five cents (33.45).
