Received you letter date May 16 and very suprised to hear you have sold all my belongings on such a unreasonable amount sum of $15.00.

List of my belonging reported to Custodian when leaving Vancouver are as follows:

B. C. Electric Co., claim filed against me on sum of $4.33. I have a fund on gas meter amount to $24.00. So please collect what they owe me.

Note: The premises in which these goods were sold were broken into repeatedly and what chattels remained after thefts were sold to Mr. Peter Hem for $15.00 by Mr. Messenger. There is no record of what was sold to Mr. Hem.
